Esta banda é (como se pode ver no gênero acima) uma mistura
de estilos que nem eles próprios conseguem definir, mas
certamente é um som muito rápido e com um peso considerável.
Neste álbum (o 10º da banda), pode-se ouvir um som muito
bom, que já começa a puxar mais para o metal (menos presente
no albuns anteriores), principalmente pela entonação do vocal
(gritado em espanhol) e das guitarras, já a batera e o baixo
puxam bastante para o HC; Destaque para as faixas 4,5,8,9 e 13.
Baita banda, a desses espanhóis.

Nocturno Culto - The Misanthrope And Bonus CD (2007)

The film debut by Darkthrone's Nocturno Culto offers an insight into a strange life of solitude...chaos...and Darkthrone.

The Misanthrope takes us into the heart of the Norwegian Black Metal scene and folk culture, with unique footage of Darkthrone rehearsinf, Aura Noir, strange trips ito the forest and even a brief excursion to Japan.

The soundtrack to this film is now avaliabile on Peaceville Records. All the tracks were specifically composed for the film and the CD comes with a binus DVD of the film.

The DVD also features extras including stills/photo gallery, the promo video for Darkthrone's "Too Old, Too Cold" and extremely rare vintage videos of performances by the band of "Thulcandra" and "Archipelago".

As Nocturno modestly says this is a "strange documentary/fiction film, not suitable for everyone". It is however be indispensable for all followers of Darkthrone and the Norwegian Black Metal scene.
